The team also observed that Ecoplus recycled the phenolic
dust and powder collected (quantity average monthly about
1.2 tonnes), cured it with formulation and applied it to paper
honeycombs to resist against water. These retreated phenolic
paper honeycombs are then pressed with two layers of
phenolic panels and embedded into the panel structure for
the Favolic Design (See Figure 8).
