Normandin Square Affordable Housing

            Redevelopment & Mixed-Use Development
            Laconia, New Hampshire


























            Formerly  known  as  Sco  &  Williams  Mill,  the  Normandin  Square

            Apartment  Complex  is  a  mixed  use  Residenal/Commercial  property

            in downtown Laconia. Originally developed through Plan NH Charee

            efforts,  it  was  purchased  by  the  Laconia  Housing  Authority  who
            retained  Warrenstreet  to  provide  a  preliminary  feasibility  study  and
            full architectural design services including tenant fit-up, interior design


            and construcon administraon. Funded in part through the Affordable



            Housing  Program  this  much  ancipated  re-use  and  redevelopment
            project  provided  much  needed  workforce  housing,  health  and  child-
            care  services  to  the  downtown  Laconia  area  and  led  to  the  further
            development of the surrounding neighborhood. The upper three upper
            floors  owned  by  LHA  were  renovated  and  divided  into  one,  two  and

            three  bedroom  apartments  with  three  professional  clients  occupying   Owner

            the  ground  floor  including  The  Lakes  Region  Child  Care  Center,  the   Laconia Housing & Redevelopment
            LRGHealthcare Wellness Center, and  the HealthFirst Family Care Center.    Authority

            residenal  and  commercial  tenants,  a  customized  parking  agreement   2006
            was developed between LHA and the City of Laconia. This arrangement
            allowed for less than required parking to be built, subsequently increasing   Project Size
