Only A Sinner Saved By Grace???



               God,  but  sin  will  also  damage  a  Christian’s


               godly  influence  on  both  unbelievers  and



               believers  alike.  Also,  unrepentant  sin  will


               negatively  affect  a  Christian’s  prayer  life.



               Psalm 66:18 says, “If I regard iniquity in my


               heart, the Lord will not hear me.” But 1 John



               1:9 is a verse directed toward Christians in


               order to restore and maintain fellowship with



               God: “[I]f we confess our sins, he is faithful



               and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse


               us from all unrighteousness.”




               Sin should be the exception in a Christian’s



               life, however, and not the norm. First John


               2:1 admonishes Christians to “sin not.                                                And



               if”—not  when—“any  man  sin,  we  have  an


               advocate  with  the  Father,  Jesus  Christ  the



               righteous,”  and  1  John  3:9  tells  us  that
