     received  anything  in  return.  His  “returns”
             were  future  in  the  salvation  of  many
             souls.  First Peter 3:18 says, “For Christ also
             hath once suffered for sins, the just for the
             unjust,  that  he  might bring  us  to  God,
             being  put  to  death  in  the  flesh,  but
             quickened  by  the  Spirit,”  and in  Hebrews
             12:2,  the  author  proclaims,  “Looking  unto

             Jesus  the  author  and  finisher  of our

             him endured  the  cross,  despising  the
             shame, and is set down at the right hand of
             the throne of God.”
             God’s kind of love “is not easily provoked”
                    Psalm  145:8  declares,  “The  LORD  is
             gracious,  and  full  of  compassion; slow  to
