3mo M German Shepherd Dog with multifocal pain. Complete blood count revealed neutrophilia with a toxic left shift. There is ill‐defined
osteolysis of medullary bone of the left ilium (a,b: large arrow) as well as of left ilial and sacral cortical bone (a,b: small arrows).
Widening of the left sacroiliac joint is indicative of septic arthritis. Blood culture was negative, but because there was no history or clinical
evidence of a penetrating injury, this was thought to be hematogenously disseminated.
