Will the Real Christians Stand Up Will the Real Christians Stand Up

The soldier in training took a swing at Sergeant Miller who
blocked his punch. Back at attention, the soldier in training
prepared to try again. The soldier in training took another
swing and once again the sergeant blocked his punch.

               “One more try.”
At the last try, the soldier in training gathered all his
strength and swung his fist towards the sergeant’s face. Ser-
geant Miller’s hand came up fast, blocking the punch and
startling the soldier in training. All the soldiers in training were

         amazed. Some even laughed.
“Attention,” the sergeant said, “Now it’s my turn. Are you
         ready?”
The soldier in training looked him in his eyes and timidly
         said, “not really, Sir.”
The squad laughed at the soldier in training as he got

ready to block the hit. Sergeant Miller faked like he was going
to swing with his left, and turned and connected with his right,
landing the soldier on his back.
“Anyone else?” Sergeant Miller asked as the soldier in

training got up and got back in line. Another soldier in training
spoke out, “Sir, I can do it, sir.”
“Ready when you are,” Drill Sergeant Miller said. The sol-
dier in training took a swing in an attempt to hit Drill Sergeant
Miller’s face. Drill Sergeant Miller took a step back dodging
the swing that the soldier in training took.

               “Two more,” Sergeant Miller said.
The soldier in training took another swing, but Drill Ser-
geant Miller quickly dodged the punch. The Sergeant gave
the soldier one last try. The soldier in training took another
swing and missed the Drill Sergeant face by inches.

“My turn,” Drill Sergeant said. The Drill Sergeant faked as
if he was going to swing with his left. He then pretended he
