Will the Real Christians Stand Up

friends who let him down to Jesus. They knew that Jesus could
perform a miracle in the man’s life. I believe that Jesus can
cause you to get up and walk as he did that man. First, let
me pray.” Samaria laid her one hand on Mr. Wilson’s foot and

the other on his leg and began praying. She asked for healing
power towards his paralyzed legs. “
Thank you for being wounded for our transgressions and
being bruised for our iniquities. Thank you for being chastised
for our peace, and by your stripes, this man is healed.”

“And by your stripes, I am healed,” Mr. Wilson said, re-
peating after her. Samaria spoke life into Mr. Wilson’s legs,
hips, and bones before ending the prayer. With tears, she told
him that she was believing with him that he could walk, but it
would be his faith that determined it.
Do you believe, sir?” she asked. He stared at her and

nodded. “Then I need you to place both of your feet on the
         floor.”
Mr. Wilson brought himself to the side of the bed and po-
sitioned his legs over it. He tried to move and place his feet on

the floor but couldn’t. Tears started to run down his face as he
tried again. He kept asking God to give him strength, praying
for his miracle. In the end, Mr. Wilson’s faith and effort paid
off. He placed his feet on the floor and then attempted to
stand. “Can you walk to me?” Samaria asked as she moved a
few feet away from him. He attempted to take a step but felt

unbalanced. He reached for the chair by the bed to catch
himself. He tried again, regaining balance and taking a few
steps forward and grabbed Samaria’s hands.
The youth stood to their feet, cheering and applauding.
As they settled down, a nurse walked into the scene.

“Mr. Wilson,” the nurse said, knocking on the door, “you
have a visi...” Before she could finish, she was caught off
guard by the scene in front of her. She couldn’t believe that
