        DON’T FORGET YOUR HOME’S UNIQUE FEATURES

        Give special attention to photographing your home’s unique
        features—the ones I emphasized in Chapter 1. Following the
        80/20 rule, these are the features that will make your home
        stand out above the other houses listed in your market.
        Remember, these unique features should play a prominent
        role in your marketing efforts.

        USING DRONES

        In the past, you would’ve needed to pay a professional pilot
        or rent a helicopter to capture aerial footage of your home.
        Now, anyone can use drone technology to capture video
        and  still  images  from  the sky.  Drone  photography and
        videography can take your listing to a whole new level—no
        pun intended.


        Because civilian drone use is governed by state and/or local
        laws, you  might want to consider  hiring a licensed drone
        photographer or getting a license to fly one yourself.

        Drone photography provides a big-picture view that most
        home owners never even see for as many years as they live
        in their homes. The house, the yard, the distance from
        neighbors,  the  proximity  to  various  parts  of  the
        community—this  is  truly  a valuable  shot.  An aerial view
        also can add a dramatic feel to the images of your home.
