                   s.    If discharging the load overnight is not possible then you must park at least 10
                         metres away from buildings, vehicles and mobile plant to ensure a suitable fire
                         break.

                   Entering the rear of the loader,

                   a.    Agree a safe working area away from machinery movements with

                         the site Operations Manager
                   b.    Raise the tailgate and insert a tailgate prop.

                   c.    Switch off the vehicle and remove the key, place the key in your pocket.

                   d.    Carry out any repairs/housekeeping.
                   e.    Leave by the rear of vehicle and ensure that no one is left inside.

                   f.    Re-start the vehicle.
                   g.    Remove the tailgate prop.

                   h.    Lower the tailgate.

                   i.    Notify the site Operations Manager that your job is completed
            All problems, accidents, unsafe conditions and deviations from the Safe System of
            Work must be reported to the Operations Manager or Transport Manager
            immediately.

            PPE Required

                       •  Bump cap
                       •  Safety Glasses
                       •  Cut and Puncture resistant Gloves
                       •  Safety Boots
                       •  Paper Suit

                   Cleaning behind the paddle
            These standards shall apply to all drivers that operate the Refuse Collection vehicle
            when cleaning behind the Paddle (2 person Operation)

            Method

            1.      Position the vehicle in the designated safe area. (Workshop yard area)
            2.      Lower the paddle to lowest position

            3.      Engage E Stop and remove keys from ignition

            4.      Lower the rear loading plate to create a flat platform

            5.      Using steps provided climb level to the rear of the loading area
            6.      Clear debris form the top of the paddle area into load area using suitable pole

            7.      Exit the load area
