However, because the SA and PA instruments were built according to the rubric,
the researcher did not test them.
Last, the researcher conducted a final trail to students of English
Language Department of two universities in Central Sulawesi; Tadulako
University and UIN Datokarama. They were chosen because they are the only
public universities in Central Sulawesi. Consequently, there were 36 students
from Tadulako University and 15 students from UIN Datokarama Palu
participated in the final trial to investigate information about the final product.
Students who have completed and passed two writing courses were required to
be participants.
3) Data Collection, Techniques and Instruments
a) Observation
Data on implementing the multipurpose assessment model in GBA-
TBI writing instruction and in FCA was collected using observation sheets.
This instrument was developed based on the lesson plan used in the action
stage. This technique was used by observing the implementation of the
model. The information obtained from the observation helps determine the
effectiveness of the model's implementation. Utilizing observation sheets
that were evaluated by observers, determine whether the multipurpose
assessment model in the blended learning of argumentative writing was
effectively implemented and received positive feedback from both students
and lecturers. The criteria that were utilized to evaluate the model's
