on the assessment models, instrument packages, scoring rubrics, and a
guidebook of the model. Expert suggestions and input were used as references
for reflection and revision, confirming the product's validity. The next step was
to conduct a readability test with 42 students and two lecturers as collaborating
partners after updating the devices, which were deemed valid by the experts. It
was intended to prevent misinterpretation of statements in all instruments. Then,
the researcher tested the construct of a writing test by involving 15 students and
two raters. In the writing test, the scoring rubrics/rating scale represents the
construct of the writing test (McNamara, 2002; Knock, 2009). The researcher
then made any necessary revisions.
3. Assessment
The final stage of developing the multipurpose assessment model
procedures is the assessment stage. At this stage, the evaluation of the draft
model that has been developed was carried out. This stage aims to obtain
empirical evidence of the implementation of the established model from the
development stage and users’ perspectives toward the implementation (students
and lecturers). The next stage is to test the model, and then the test results are
used as a basis for analyzing the quality of the model.
The steps taken by the researcher were to implement the multipurpose
assessment model in the learning process. The characteristics of the
multipurpose assessment model, such as SA and PA which were done by the
students and feedback from lecturers in strengthening students’ reviews. All the
