b) Validation Sheets
The validation sheets were utilized to gather data regarding the
prototype model's validity during the early stages of product development.
Four professionals with expertise in measuring and teaching EFL completed
the validation instruments. They focused on the content validity of the
model's instruments.
c) Writing Test and Analytical Scoring Rubric
A writing test was utilized to obtain information about students'
writing abilities. They were given 50 minutes-essay writing assignment. The
writing test was created following the syllabus and instructional objectives
of the Writing for Professional Course. They were given clear writing
instructions and prompts to help them understand and write well (Weigle,
2002). While writing instruction contained information regarding the
objective of the writing, time allotment, text’s length, and some indication
