Universities must precisely design the curriculum to attain students' intended
competencies. Students are required to exhibit Graduate Learning
Achievements (Capaian Pembelajaran Lulusan - CPL) based on their learning
experience. Knowledge and skills that need to be quantified concretely are
called outcomes.
In addition, the government policy implemented through SN-Dikti, as
outlined in the Kurikulum Meredeka, stipulates that the learning process should
be focused on the needs and abilities of the students, known as student-centered
learning (SCL). SCL emphasizes the cultivation of creativity, capacity,
personality, and independence in acquiring knowledge, focusing on meeting
students' needs. SCL is derived from the constructivist learning theory,
highlighting the importance of students actively constructing their knowledge
effectively (Attard et al., 2010).
Universities are currently grappling with the challenges posed by the
fourth industrial revolution and the digital age, which enable the adoption of
student-centered learning (SCL) to be more streamlined and impactful through
the use of blended learning. Also, the curriculum requires implementing
Project-based Learning and Case-based Method learning approaches in the
classroom. These methods are chosen for their characteristics of promoting
student-centered learning. In addition to evaluating the extent to which learning
outcomes have been achieved, assessment also plays a crucial role in promoting
student engagement in the learning process.
