Thus, the author strongly believes that the multipurpose assessment
aligns with the government policy for several reasons: First, this model's
implementation actively engages students in the teaching and learning process
and assessment activities through SA and PA. Furthermore, the assessment
instruments, that serve as model devices, emphasize the development of
argumentative texts, demanding students to employ logical reasoning and high-
level thinking abilities. It is in accordance with the 21st-century skills that
Kurikulum Merdeka requires.
Thirdly, this model seeks to enhance student learning by equipping them
with the skills required to compose texts following learning objectives on CPL.
Regarding facilitating the students' achievement in CPL, they are provided with
analytical scoring rubrics, rubric-based self-assessment sheets, and peer
evaluations throughout the learning process to assist them in reviewing their
texts. Based on their reviews, they can identify their strengths and weaknesses
in terms of enhancing their writing abilities.
Lastly, by integrating blended learning with FCA, this model facilitates
the development of student learning outcomes more efficiently and effectively.
In this present study, the students were instructed to access learning sources
through the provided Internet links. This way aims to provide students with
background information of intended topic when they construct the texts during
face-to-face instruction in class. In addition, instructors and students benefit
from FCA when responding to ineffective feedback. Lecturers and students'
peers can provide online feedback via G-Docs. As was previously stated,
