HELEN A. HUBLER’S CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
Ingredients
4 cups and 4 tablespoons flour
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 cups sugar
1 cup brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tablespoons vanilla
2-3 cups chocolate chips
2 cups margarine or butter
Instructions
Mix together all ingredients.
Drop from spoon unto greased cookie pan.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
Makes about 10 dozen cookies.
HONEY COOKIES
Ingredients
3/4 cup butter 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg 1/4 cup honey
1/2 teaspoon lemon extract 2 ¼ cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
Cream butter and sugar together, add egg and beat some more. Add the honey and
lemon extract and mix. Combine all dry ingredients into the sugar mixture and mix
well. Shape into two long logs. Wrap in wax paper and refrigerate for at least two
hours. Remove wax paper and slice.
Bake at 325 degrees for about 12 minutes on an ungreased cookie pan.
Makes 4 dozen.
