SALMON LOG or BALL

        Ingredients
        1 pound can of skinless and boneless salmon
        1 8oz. cream cheese softened

        1/4 teaspoon salt
        2 teaspoon minced onions
        1 teaspoon prepared horseradish



        Coating Ingredients
        3 tablespoons parsley
        You can also add 1/2 cup chopped pecans

        and walnuts


        Instructions
        Combine all ingredients and mix well. Chill for several hours. Then form into ball or

        log and add coating.


        I got his recipe from a neighbor on Waterview Place where I grew up when she
        served this at a party. This was one of the first appetizers I made.









        SALAMI HATS


        Ingredients
        Genoa salami sliced thin
        crackers

        cream cheese



        Instructions
        Cut each slice of salami in 1/2
        and then cut 1/2 way up on cut side.
        Put 1/4 tsp of cream cheese on cracker

        then put the 1/2 slice of salami around
        cream cheese to make it look like a sombrero.



        This recipe I got from my friend Laura who lived in Malverne, New York. Another
        recipe I received from Laura is Orzo and Crab meat.
