               EDUCATION
                  SCHOLARSHIP: Number of Sorors 35
                           Chapter Scholarship Participants (11) Amount of the award $11,000.00


                      LITERACY READING: Number of Sorors: 11 Number of Participants: 100
               Description of Activity: In additions to the Xinos S.T.E.A.M. project. Once a month The
               Retired Sorors Volunteer Program(RSVP) Committee services 100 students at our adopted
               school by Reading-Aloud to their Pre-K and Kindergarten students. Our Chapter began the
               school year by donating 118 backpacks filled with school supplies for needy families at our
               school. Following our meeting with the school's Principal and Assistant Principal  in September
               the RSVP Committee established a monthly reading schedule at the school. Our committee loves
               going there to interact with our classroom students. We read, sing, dance and do crafting
               together. Learning is lots of fun there.


                      AFRICAN AMERICAN HISTORY: SORORS  # 1100  XINOS  # 10 1KUDOS #7 7
               OTHERS  # 1000 Description of Activity: The African American History Committee Program
               2019 Theme was "There's a message in Our Music:Telling Our Story". The program included
               speeches, music, songs and dance presentations to tell the African American story through
               music. There was a timeline of eras in our history included pre-enslavement, enslavement,
               reconstruction, pride and protest, civil rights black power movement and contemporary/modern
               times. The Program included our youth groups and the gospel choir of our adopted school
               participated. Art exhibit created by the students of Archer Street Elementary School and other
               African artifacts on display.
                      TECHNOLOGY/COMPUTERS: Number of Sorors: 20 2Description of Activity:
               Beta Omicron Chapter Website. Our Chapter members are continuously working on developing
               their technology/computer skills. We have a computer at our Sorority Center. Some of us were
               able to use that computer during our meetings to type up our regional committee reports. We
               also appreciate the opportunities to further develop our skills during Regional Conference
               Workshops.

               CHILDREN, ADULT & EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION, TOUCH -A-CHILD:
               Number of Sorors: 115  Description of Activity: Soros read to children during our annual the
               Dr. MLK Day Celebration. The RSVP Committee service over 100 Pre-K and Kindergartners at
               our adopted school on a monthly basis. We interact with students via read-alouds, song, dance,
               oral  storytelling, recitations and crafts. Our Xinos made Get-Well cards for children in Hospital
               Cancer Wards. Our youth advisors work with our youth groups on their SAT preparation. Our
               Chapter began the school year by donating 118 backpacks filled with school supplies for needy
               families at our adopted school. Following our meeting with the school's Principal and Assistant
               Principal  in September the RSVP Committee established a monthly reading schedule at the
               school.
