Substance Abuse
GreenPoint Ag recognizes drug and alcohol abuse as a potential health, safety, and security problem.
GreenPoint Ag expects all employees to assist in maintaining a work environment free from illicit drugs
and from the effects of drug abuse. Compliance with this substance abuse policy is made a condition of
employment, and violations of the policy may lead to discipline up to and including termination of
employment.
All employees are prohibited from engaging in the unlawful manufacture, possession, use, distribution,
or purchase of illicit drugs, as well as the misuse of alcohol or prescription drugs on GreenPoint Ag
premises or any work location at any time and any place during working hours. While we cannot and
should not control your behavior off the premises on your own time, we certainly encourage you to
always obey laws, behave responsibly and appropriately, and drink in moderation. All employees are
required to report to their jobs in appropriate mental and physical condition, ready to work in a safe and
focused manner.
Substance abuse is a health issue that can be treated. If you have a drug or alcohol abuse problem, you
are encouraged to seek appropriate professional assistance. You may inform your manager or Human
Resources for assistance in seeking help to address substance abuse and help determine coverage
available under GreenPoint Ag’s Employee Assistance Program and health insurance plan.
When work performance is impaired, admission to, or use of, a substance abuse treatment facility or
other program does not preclude action by GreenPoint Ag.
Infectious Disease Prevention

outbreak. It is the goal of GreenPoint Ag during any such time period to strive to operate effectively and

workplace.
You are expected to be a responsible colleague and take precautions to protect yourself, your family,

wastebaskets;
• Using alcohol-based hand sanitizers provided throughout the workplace and in common areas
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth; and
• Stay home if you are sick.
During periods of high transmission, such as a pandemic, GreenPoint Ag may implement additional
procedures, and you may be asked to take additional precautions including:
