Visitors in the Workplace
We appreciate when our customers and other persons want to visit our locations. To help maintain
safety standards and protect our property and information, only visitors who are properly authorized
may be on GreenPoint Ag premises.
Each of you has a responsibility for the conduct of any visitor allowed in the workplace.
If you see an unauthorized or suspicious person in our offices or facilities, please escort the person out
of our offices or off our premises and notify your manager.
Solicitation
We encourage you to participate in your community. If we’re not at work, we’re with our family and
others in the community. There may be times when you, or others outside of GreenPoint Ag, want to
solicit time, money, or other matters. When applicable to our focus on community, GreenPoint Gives
may be a resource to help promote events and organizations. Otherwise, the matter may not be
appropriate for solicitation. The following items are considered appropriate communication through our
various communication channels, including bulletin boards:
• Employee announcements
• Benefits information
• Internal communication
• Job openings
• Organizational announcements
• Workers' compensation insurance information
• State disability insurance/unemployment insurance information
Access to these communication channels is limited to our employees. If you have questions, please
contact HR who can provide additional guidance if needed.
Reference Calls
It is common to receive requests for employment referrals, verifications of employment, credit checks,
reference checks, etc. Any of these types of requests should be directed to Human Resources.
