When they got to what was apparently “her new home” Sophie
met some other dogs whose names were Shelby, Bailey and
Melodie. They seemed okay but Sophie just wanted her life to
be as it was before, with just her and Ethel in a quiet little
house.
She didn’t eat any dinner that night even though it smelt really
good, and all the other dogs seemed to enjoy it.
She felt just SO overwhelmed and sad and tired and unsure. She
didn’t know these people, she didn’t know this place, she didn’t
know what exactly had happened to her today and she didn’t
understand what was expected of her.
