6. Supervision

Students need supervision, otherwise the type of
education they receive is liberal education. Supervision must

be carried out continuously, meaning that what has been

prohibited should not be violated and what has been ordered
should not be denied. Customary Doctrine, says:

                                        Father's village jo pusako
                                        Nagari father by law

                                        In the future, wait later
Barih is not bulieh passed. 129

               7. Will formation

It was explained that the development of self-will is an
excellent educational method in spurring the enthusiasm of

students to learn. This is also stated by Langeveld using the
term activity. This method can be found in Minang customs,

such as in the following mamangan: Cucuran atok
jatuahnyokapalambahan juo, (the roof falls into the palambah

               as well).

129 Idrus Hakimy, Mustika Series, p. 159, which means: The village is
fenced with heirlooms, the nagari is fenced in by law, there is a line waiting,
           the line cannot be exceeded.
