be educated in the same way.
The role of surau educators continues to be
comprehensive. Surau is also a socio-cultural
institution where various levels of society gather, so in
the surau the educated, who are members of the
community, associate with that layer, both with those
who are smaller, the same age and older, and from
different backgrounds, traders. , farmers, fellow
students, ustadz and Buya (kyai) as well as scholars and
functionaries.
Associating with various layers of society in an
environment that is separated from their parents, of
course, has a greater impact and influence on the
educated. Among these influences are the following:
➢ Unambiguous attitude; This means that
students are formed in such a way that they
do not hesitate in making a decision.
➢ Independent; because they are separated
from their parents, in many cases students
can work alone without expecting help from
others.
