business fields of religious organizations, and a
bed for widowers, youths who culturally must
sleep outside his house, because the rooms in the
gadang house are only for girls.
H. Educational Limits
The philosophy adopted by the community is
"nature takambang becomes a teacher" Minang people are required
to study nature, both the real nature (shari'a) and the unreal nature
(the essence).
Real nature (shari'a) as stated at the beginning of the
description of adat is the universe and everything in it. Practically
something that can be caught by the emanation of the senses. Such
as humans, water, air, wind, fire, earth, iron, oceans, mountains,
village heads, clouds, trees, wood, etc., all of which have their own
form, nature, and characteristics, but are strongly bound to the law
of causality as part of it. the essence of this natural law.
The nature of nature is a realm that is not real or
invisible but it is very potential and has an influence, meaning the
deep meaning of an object, this is very closely related to the
processing of thought or philosophy. Therefore, a Minang person
must always try to investigate and study the provisions and laws
