ends when a person dies. This has been stated by Allah in the letter

Al Hijr verse 99
ْ
ُنْيِقَيلا ْدُبْعا

"And worship your Lord until death comes to you"
(Surah 15: 99)

Worship is in the context of self-education.

الله لَ َهَلإلَ

"Teach the dying man, there is no god but Allah"(HR.

Muslim)
دحللا ىلا دهملا ملعلا اوبلطا

"You should seek knowledge from the moment you swing to the
grave." (HR. Ibn Abdil Bar)
Thus education in Islam (in Minang custom) begins

before the birth of a baby, that is, from marriage to the time of
death.
