A. Conclusion
From this research it can be concluded that:
1. In Minang custom, there are two leadership schools,
namely democracy and autocracy. The two forces of
flow are attractive and as forces that function as checks
and balances in maintaining balance and harmony, so
that Minang customs will not fall into one of the
extreme poles, meaning that Minang people will not be
liberal because of their egalitarianism. Therefore, the
traditional leadership stream is in an intermediate
position, neither too liberal nor too bound. It's just that
it needs to be underlined that the impact of adat on
education is the life of democracy in traditional
education, this is a characteristic of the custom with the
existence of consensus as an effort to take a policy in
the midst of society.
2. The basis of Minang traditional education is
monotheism which places the greatness of God above
all else. This belief in the oneness of God is described
in the adat nan bana badiri sandirinyo (which stands
