drawn. Among the similarities are that these two schools mean that

education is both a conscious and deliberate effort given to
students for physical and spiritual growth. The difference is in the

purpose and basis of each. General education aims to form moral

responsibility, which is designed and created by humans. While
Islamic education forms the main personality, the personality in

question is the Islamic personality created by God the creator of
man.

As explained by education experts above that education is
an effort in the form of guidance or leadership consciously given

by an educator to students in an effort to develop or raise physically

and spiritually towards the formation of the main personality
(morality) or a certain goal, thus It can be concluded that talking

about the origin of education, there are several elements that
become references, including:

➢ There must be educators and students (who and
whom). There must be an educational basis and end in

educational goals (why)

➢ Takes place in a place, environment, institution
(where)

➢ Takes place in the process, is a period of time (when)

➢ Materials for personal development (what)
➢ There is a guiding method (how)
