EDUCATION THEORY FRAMEWORK
A. Education Concept
The following will discuss the meaning of education
according to the opinion of several experts in general education
and religious education. According to Langeveld as quoted by Drs.
Suwarno, "educating is giving conscious and deliberate help to a
child (who is not yet an adult) in his growth towards maturity, in
the sense of being able to stand alone and be morally responsible

for all his actions according to his own choices". It is stated that
education is a guidance, assistance or guidance that is intentionally,
planned and directed given to children who are not yet mature by
responsible adults. The guidance is aimed at developing and
building an attitude of maturity so that a student can be
independent and responsible for himself and the community and
can determine and choose good and bad actions to take until he is
an adult.
Furthermore Langeveld states that Islamic education is
defined as follows. According to Abdurahman An Nahlawi,
"Islamic education is the development of the human mind and the
arrangement of behavior and emotions based on Islam with the aim
