namely in all aspects of life". It is explained that Islamic education
is a human effort to develop intellectually, guide and organize
behavior, emotions and all aspects of human life on the basis of the
Islamic religion, both individually and in groups.
According to Marimba D. "Education is a conscious
guidance or leadership by the educator towards the physical and
spiritual development of the educated towards the formation of the

main personality". It is explained that Islamic education is an effort
of spiritual and physical guidance given to students by educators
consciously, deliberately and planned to achieve the main Islamic
personality.
From the two opinions on the meaning of Islamic education
above, it can be concluded that education is an effort to guide
physical and spiritual development that is balanced and
comprehensive (total) in the form of developing all aspects of life,
spiritual, intellectual, imagination, physical, science and language
both for personal and for group.
When comparing the opinions of general education experts
with Islamic education experts, similarities and differences can be
