G. Terminology

Writing a thesis begins with an analysis of terms that are
often encountered and contain educational meanings.

                  1. Paedagogies

PaedagogiesThe word comes from the ancient
Greek, namely from the word "Pais" which means "child",

and "agogos" which means "guide". In history, a child who
goes to school is always accompanied by a person called

Gogos. He was in charge of bringing the child's school
equipment and after returning home he also observed the

child. So paedagogiek means "the science of guiding

                  children".
Then it is also necessary to explain two terms that

come from the same root word above, but differ in their use,
namely: Paedagogie which means education. Education

that has been born and implemented far earlier, namely
since the first human was born into the world, as said by

education expert EH Wilds quoted by Suwarno: Education

                                      1
is as old as life itself. This means that education has started
                  since the first life.
