manners. As Nasroen stated that this enormous and vast nature is

basically just giving, it has the nature of not demanding back.
In fact, the main basis of Minang customs is reason,

even based on the provisions in nature because nature is

purely mind, full of God's grace. Because nature is
basically just giving, not wanting revenge, the sun is

shining, it is not for itself, the fruiting tree is for humans to
eat, day is to work for humans, and night is to rest, that

                                               31
nature is a mercy for humans.
From the information above, it can be understood that the

real nature presents the potential that exists in it for the benefit of

humans. Plants, almost all parts of it can be used by humans,
ranging from roots, stems, leaves, fruit, sap, skin to the waste that

is useful for humans. From the Sun; light, energy and gravity are
all for humans. From the Moon; light, gravity, everything is only

for humans, but he never wants revenge, and never thinks of a
demand with worldly balance. He only gives, such actions are

called good deeds. Because nature contains teachings of the mind

based on a sincerity that never demands anything back or in return,
the concept of Minang adat education number three is the virtue of

           good manners.
