This shows that the best human value is not in

intelligence, courage, power but in character. Good
manners teach the placement of sincere intentions, honesty

and justice both to oneself and to others, placing

materialistic nature far behind, respecting each other and
                  helping each other.

So the custom that is held is the result of the ijtihad
of the ancestors of the Minangkabau people concocting

customs based on natural teachings to be used as provisions
or guidelines for social life. This is based on the teachings

of the mind contained in nature, where these teachings state

that nature never demands back for all the goodness that
has been donated for the needs of human life. Customs

regulate social life from the smallest things, such as how to
get along, how to live to help each other, respect each other,

love each other, live in politics, economic law, socio-
                  culture, defense and security.

                  3. Adat nan babuhua died (customs with dead knots)

The adat nan of the savanna, the custom and the
custom that is held, are both called adat nan babuhua mati

(tradition with dead strings), which cannot be changed.

                          The traditional proverb states:
Nan did not miss the deck paneh,
