Article 28
Overtime
1. The definition of "overtime" is in the context of emergency or
temporary work.
2. Those who are entitled to overtime pay are employees of the
Senior Clerk level and below.
3. If the Bank's operational demands require it, the Employees must
be prepared to fulfill overtime requests from Management unless
the Employees's health condition is unwell or for a very strong
reason.
4. In principle, overtime is an order from a direct supervisor to the
Employees and is approved by the Employees.
5. In practice, the form of approval for overtime is through the
overtime submission system submitted by Employeess through
the Human Resources Information System (HC Plus) and must be
approved by their superiors.
6. If in reality the overtime assignment becomes a permanent or
routine activity, it is necessary to consider an effective settlement
pattern.
7. Attendance before 08.00 WIB does not automatically count as
overtime, except for certain tasks such as drivers, security guards,
messengers, clearing officers and those who are asked to be
present in writing before the working hours of the bank.
8. Management has the right to reduce the number of overtime
hours if the overtime work is not carried out by order of superiors
or management and if overtime is not used properly.
9. Management only recognizes overtime work if attendance is
officially recorded in the Attendance Machine both when arriving
and when returning.
10. Calculation of overtime is only made for overtime at least 15
minutes after the end of normal working hours.
11. Employeess who work overtime are entitled to allowances for
meals and transportation allowances as stipulated in BMI CLA
Article 36 and the amount is regulated in the Bank's internal
operational regulations.
