3. How would you support a family member who needs expensive treatment
in order to recover from a dreaded illness?
Sample answer:
To help any family member or any close relative who needs to undergo medical treatment, I
would share financial or material support that I can afford to give. Aside from that, regular visits
and moral support could also speed up recovery.
1. You are a businessperson who had treatment for Urinary Tract Infection a
week ago. Now, you went back for a follow up check up.
Sample answer:
Hi doc, it is good that my urine color has normalized. Should I submit another sample of my
urine to the laboratory for final verification? I am a bit paranoid about my condition. During my
medication, I have realized how important a healthy life style is. It is good that I am getting bet-
ter. I want to be sure of my full recovery. Compared to last week, I no longer have difficulties in
emptying my bladder. I also don’t have the pain in my lower back. I believe I’m perfectly fine.
2. You are a doctor of a 1-year-old baby girl. She was admitted to the hospital
because of Diarrhea with Sever Dehydration. You went to see her mother
again for the child’s condition.
Sample answer:
Good morning, Madam! How is your baby been doing lately? Is she still experiencing loose
bowel movement? Well, we can see now that your kid has a very good skin color and she no
longer has cracked lips. No, budging fontanels and no sunken eyeballs can be seen as well as
no shrill cry, right? This means that she has surpassed her dehydration, and she has finally re-
hydrated with proper fluids and electrolytes. Okay, we will just have to get her last sample of
stool and see the results. If the result is good, we can already send you home.
