Under the law, all hospital records are considered private. The hospital administration together
with the whole medical team doesn’t have any right to disclose any personal information re-
garding the patient or his/her medical condition. If anyone violates the law, he/she will be
liable and her license could be revoked and he/she would be dismissed from service. A Sub-
peona is needed if a hospital record is needed for Court trial purposes.
