know what to do when I saw him severely bleeding. All I want was to save him.
2. Do you think that it’s best to maintain a composed mind during an emer-
gency?
Sample answer:
Yes, that’s a very important key to be able to transfer the patient to the hospital at the safest
and most possible time ever. We can think clearly and more effectively if we stay calm and alert
during an emergency. Being hysterical won’t help in any way.
3. Do you think that it’s important to consider the distance of the hospital over
its standard?
Sample answer:
It’s a case to case basis. Of course, we should consider the standard of the hospital especially
during an emergency situation because we are after the kind of aid that the health practitio-
ners would be able to give our love ones during an emergency. But, if the hospital is very far
from the impact area, of course we also have to consider the distance of the hospital since we
value time so much during an emergency.
1. You are a working-mother of a nine month old baby girl who’s experiencing
high grade fever for 3 days. You had rushed her to Lenox Hospital in New
York City because of Infantile Seizure.
Sample answer:
Doctor, please help me! My 9-month-old baby girl had a seizure! She has a high grade fever
for 3 days now. Please check on her. Her latest temperature so far is 40 degrees Celsius. It’s the
highest temperature that I’ve recorded from her ever since. I didn’t do anything when she’s
having her seizure. I just hugged her and rushed her here because of the convulsion. I’m not
familiar with first aid procedures for emergency cases like this, but I’m optimistic that you can
take care of my daughter.
2. You are a Sales Coordinator of Nokia Cell phones and you were rushed to
London Central Hospital because of a sudden severe pain on his lower right
abdominal area.
Sample answer:
I cannot take this any longer, doctor. It’s so painful! I can’t walk, please let me lie down and bend
my body. It hurts if I bend my legs like this. I remember I just took my quick lunch, and then I
rush to our sales meeting. I was really in a hurry because I might be late. I could not afford to
miss the important matters to be discussed, so I ran to the meeting place. Eventually, while
I was in the meeting, I felt the pain in the lower right part of my abdomen. I suspect myself
experiencing Acute Appendicitis. Am I going to undergo laboratory test? Please make it quick
because this could be fatal.
