Mary: I’m sorry but I disagree with the idea of getting another prospective Market, Phil.
Phil: Okay, we’re listening.
Mary: I think we need to let our customers feel that we value their loyalty.
Phil: So, what do you recommend?
Mary: I suggest we improve the features of our cars, so they can buy units that suit them better.
Phil: You have a point. We’ll limit the cost of Marketing because we’ll stick with our current
Market.
Ingrid: I have a different view, Mary.
Mary: Okay, what do you think?
Ingrid: We won’t increase sales if we merely improve on our units and “cross our fingers” hop-
ing that our current Market would buy more.
Ted: Actually, I think we can merge the suggestions of Mary and Phil, taking into account Ingrid’s
keen observation.
Phil: How’s that Ted?
Ted: We can identify the interests of our current clients. We can improve the units depending on
their preferences to increase our sales.
Mary: I see. That was my idea. What about considering Phil’s?
Ted: We can find a Market, which would prefer units with the specifications present in our cur-
rent units. Phil: That’s a good idea.
Ingrid: Absolutely!
Mary: That’s more like it!
Bill: So let’s conduct research then work on Marketing strategies to interest our new target.
