thought about what you’re going to say properly since words and their consequences
                  can’t be taken back.

               2. What do you usually say if someone refutes or negate your opinion?

                  Sample answer:
I consider their point and opinions well, and I always take responses to my opinions
objectively. I have this principle that if you deal with people kindly, they will kindly
deal with you. Most of the time, I gain new insight from what they say so I thank them
                  for expressing their opinion.

               3. How will you combine your ideas with others?

                  Sample answer:
If ideas seem to come from opposite ends of the spectrum, it is most advisable to have
a mediator. If there are two people talking, they will likely stick with what they have
in mind and will only see the good side of their own and the bad side of the other. A
mediator can help both sides think more broad-mindedly.

               1. The suggestion of your colleague is taken over yours. You are going to con-
                  gratulate him.

                  Sample answer:
Hey John, I wish I double-checked my suggestions because hearing yours made me
realize that my plans lacked something. You really showed keen foresight. Those were
great suggestions! I’ll do my best to help you carry it out. I can tell we’re going to score
                  big with this one.

               2. We are reversing the scenario. Your idea is preferred over that of your col-
league. You are explaining how he can help.

                  Sample answer:
Lisa, you did make some excellent points before and I would welcome your sugges-
tions. I should be asking for your help in identifying the negative aspects of my strate-
gies so I can improve it. We are a team; we should always patch things up with each
other. Remember what TEAM means – “Together Everyone Achieves More”. I look for-
ward to inputs from all members of our team including yours. Together, we can make
this project an even bigger success.
