Company meetings are important for the company itself and the employees as well.
It helps in reminding policies to all employees. Regular meetings are straightening all
uncertainties. This is for the Benefit of everybody in the company.
3. Is it necessary to come up with an excuse letter even if you’ve already in-
formed your superior that you will be absent for work?
Sample answer:
Of course! It is still necessary to give a written explanation why you were absent for
work. Your call prior to your absence isn’t a formal excuse, and you have to write it on
paper to be considered ethically informed. That could be your supporting document.
Verbal information and approval isn’t enough evidence when problems arise unex-
pecTedly.
1. The supervisors will be having the weekly meeting. If you were one of the
superiors, how will you express your opinion about unauthorized absenc-
es?
Sample answer:
All employees play a vital role in the operations. Once an employee commits an un-
authorized absence, he/she makes the life of his/her coworker worst. An employee at
work would have to work double time because he/she will get the work that should
have been for his/her co-employee. I strongly suggest imposing heavy sanction to
those found malingering or giving false information. It is not a good excuse to have
you leave from work unauthorized. So, all of us here should follow the rules on ab-
sence and leave from work.
2. The employees knew about the supervisor’s meeting. If you were the em-
ployee, where do you stand regarding the issue? Are you going to speak
your Mind out during the employees’ meeting?
Sample answer:
As an employee, I think I would have to speak my mind and heart out when asked
for my opinion/comment during an employee’s meeting. I would have to do it in a
very ethical and nice way. That way, I will be able to win their trusts, and in the end,
have them agree on my proposal. Companies should follow the escalation method. An
employee should observe and adhere to the company’s rules and regulations. There
should be enough evidence on certain issues. Our jobs are very important. It’s just fair
to wait for more evidence.
