How do you find our trip, Director Beck?

Director Kim: How do you find our trip, Director Beck? I am somewhat tired, how about you?
Director Beck: I think I have a jet lag. I am not used to board on other airlines. I cannot under-
stand why our company did not book us with Continental Airlines. Now, I am feeling sick.
Director Kim: My head is heavy too. I think we should relax today and stop for the day. Let us
have our breakfast at the Champagne Bar. I heard they have freshly baked pastries and an
array of specialty coffee. I want to indulge myself into the majestic views of Fifth Avenue; after
all, we are booked at The Plaza, one of New York’s Five Star hotels. I am sure we will love it
here. What do you think,?
Director Beck: Director Kim, I could never agree that more with you. I know I cannot perform
well with my presentation tomorrow at the Convention if I do not feel much better.
Director Kim: I know; that is why I suggest going to the Spa and having a relaxing massage. I
think I will be able to sleep well tonight after going to the “Oak Room”, formerly known as
the Men’s Bar. Oh, come on; let us not waste our time. We do not have much time. Believe
me; we can close the deal better if we relax a bit.
Director Beck: Honestly, I cannot think about anything else right now except for a dip at the
sauna. Oh, my head and whole body aches!
Director Kim: Easy, we are at the world’s most renowned landmark, New York City. Have you
ever forgotten that we are at New York’s most prestigious, majestic and iconic Beaux-Arts
masterpiece, The Plaza? We are at the crossroads between the legacy of the Fifth Avenue and
the fabled Central Park, which brings us to a luxurious living. What is “The Plaza’s” world-
class service known for if we will not be experiencing a life fit for a king? We deserve this
anyway.
Director Beck: Are you trying to imply that we should enjoy our booking here at The Plaza?
Would I feel better if we relax and enjoy its serenity and indulgence? Am I right, Director Kim?
Director Kim: Absolutely, I also want to take a shower in their bathroom finished with inlaid
“earth stone” mosaics and 24-karat gold Sherle Wagner faucets and accessories with hand-
crafted solid white marble vanities. Boy, a true life of a royalty!
Director Beck: All right, if you say so, Director Kim. Let us relax and review our presentation
with an afternoon tea at the Palm Court. I will bring along my things to my room first. Bring
yours too.
Director Kim: Come on now, we had better hurry to the fifth floor. We will be staying at the
Plaza Room. My room is just next to yours. Oh, I cannot wait to have my back rested on bed.

1. Are you comfortable having a trip together with a colleague?

Sample answer:
Of course, I do not mind having a companion with me during my trip. It is much better to have
a colleague with me during my trip. Things could be more interesting once you share it with
somebody. I also believe in the saying that “Two heads are better than one”. I believe it would
be easier for us to close a deal if both of us will push on a certain goal or proposal. We can both
relax too.
