Let’s talk business over lunch
Director Choi: Good afternoon, Director Chivaz. It’s a pleasure to finally meet you.
Director Chivaz: The pleasure is mine, Director Choi. How do you find your stay here in our hotel? Let
me show you around this magnificent place.
Director Choi: I must say that Metropolitan Hotel here in Athens is very sophisticated and posh. I love its
unique cosmopolitan atmosphere. The Aegean Sea and the Acropolis are both a scenic view.
Director Chivaz: Well, thanks a lot for the compliment and for admiring our hotel. Did you notice its
perfect location? See, Faleron Olympic Coastal Park is right in front of us. It is superbly, symbolic and
perfect for both leisure and business.
Director Choi: True enough, I absolutely believe in you, Sir.
Director Chivaz: Here we are at the La Veranda Restaurant and Bar. This is one of our three hotel
restaurants. The other two are La Trocadero and Regatta Bar. Do you notice its outdoor seating area?
Well, the guests enjoy it here during summer months.
Director Choi: Oh my, shall we order? I cannot wait to taste your cuisine. It smells so delicious!
Director Chivaz: Here is the menu. Please do the honor. Let us talk business over lunch, then. Enjoy
your meal together with the jazzy music along with the Golf Course view.
Director Choi: Can I have Easy Smoked Chicken Pizza that goes perfect with Pinot Noir wine? Please
serve me later a Hazelnut Chocolate Praline Semi-Fredo for dessert and a Latte. Thanks!
Waiter: Ok sir, how about you Director Chivaz?
Director Chivaz: I will have Smoked Chicken Salad Croissant Sandwich. Is this served with Arugula
Salad? Of course, Chardonnay goes as a perfect wine for my lunch. Later, I will have Orange Sorbet and
Latte. Thanks, Rico.
Waiter: You’re welcome. Director Chivaz, I will be back in a minute for your lunch order.
Director Choi: These are mouthwatering. I wish our Amana Restaurant in Korea were as perfect as your
hotel restaurant. By the way, that brings me to our business talk. Our Amana Hotel and Restaurant
Resort is looking forward into a tie up with you. We certainly feel that bringing your cuisine in our
restaurant would definitely profit both of our companies. What can you say about that?
Director Chivaz: How should we do that? Our distance is million miles away from each other.
Director Choi: There goes my proposal, Director Chivaz. You can refer to my slides here on my Laptop.

DIRECTOR CHIVAZ: It is a very nice proposal. You wanted us to come to Korea to teach your chefs and in
the same manner; you will carry our name tied along with your hotel for marketing purposes. Your
chefs would also impart their recipes and special menu with us, am I right?
Director Choi: Definitely, Director Chivaz. We wanted to bring the taste of Metropolitan Hotel’s gourmet
to our Amana Hotel in Korea and in our branch in the U.S. too.
Director Chivaz: Okay, I will discuss this with the board of Directors and have it approved by the CEO.
Then, I will contact you as soon as the results come out. Thanks a lot. It was nice doing business with
you, Director Choi. Have a safe trip back to the Korea. Send my regards to the US Hotel Manager.
