and we are thankful for that. Some also invite us to dinner and other special events.

number one! Congratulations to all of us! We wouldn’t have reached our goal if we did not help
one another. Everyone is important. I believe that each of us gave a contribution to our success.
I hope that we can continue the good work, and double it if we can, so that we can continue
being number one. Again, congratulations to all of us!
2. You are thankful for the help given by a friend in your business. Tell him how
he has helped you and express appreciation.

Sample answer:
Mr. Kent, thank you very much for the financial advice you gave us. We took your advice and we
are now reaping the benefits of the investments we made. I don’t know how we can make it up
to you. Your help is priceless. Anyway, rest assured that we would readily give you any help we
can offer. You may visit our plant and office anytime. We are truly grateful.
