President Sukarno reading ‘To Build the World Anew’,
alongside Lieutenant Colonel Sabur
Sukarno's speech “To Build the World Anew” not only
inspired the world to be more active in creating peace
and equality, but also gave birth to the Non-Aligned
Movement in 1961, which united newly independent
countries. These archives are documented in the form
of text, photographs, sound recordings, and films.
Due to the importance of these archives to the world,
UNESCO has designated them as Memory of the World
register in 2023.
