COMBINATION 3
Hook, cross, jab
Lift and lock lead elbow at about 90 degrees, then rotate
around the waist to throw the hook. Remember to turn your
wrists on the cross and jab to connect your knuckles to the
target.
COMBINATION 4
Double jab, cross
Fully extend your arm (without locking elbow) to throw the
jab, and then retract your arm halfway before throwing the
second jab.
COMBINATION 5
Jab, double cross
Rotate around the waist to shift your rear shoulder forward
and pivot on the ball of the rear foot to throw the second
cross.
COMBINATION 6
Up-jab, cross, body shot
To throw the up-jab, lower your lead forearm so that your fist
is level to your naval, locking the inner angle of your elbow
at 90 degrees. Then, without decreasing the inner angle of
your elbow, use your shoulder to lever the upward motion
on the up-jab. To throw the body shot, drop your lead hand
to get a 45-degree angle in your elbow joint and rotate
around the waist. Remember not to over-rotate.
