Transmission axle-transmission axle assembly
Inspection

1. Inspect the radial run-out of the
transmission axle
• Measure the radial run-out of the
transmission axle with v-shaped table
and dial indicator.
Standard value: 0.5 mm
Limit value: 0.6 mm
If the radial run-out is beyond the limit value,
calibrate it with a press or replace the transmission
axle with a new one.

2. Inspect the sliding spline clearance of
Spline housing the transmission axle
• Measure the fit clearance between the
spline axle and the spline housing on
Spline axle the normal rotation direction with a
clearance gauge.
Standard value: 0.1 mm
Limit value: 0.3 mm
Clearance
If the clearance of sliding spline is beyond the
limit value, replace with a new transmission axle.
