Transmission axle-transmission axle assembly
Replacement
1. Remove the transmission axle of the
rear axle
(a). Separate the transmission axle of the rear
axle and the main reducing gear.
• Inspect the calibration arrows on the
transmission axle of the rear axle and
make sure that they are clear and on
the same axial plane.

• Make matchmarks on the flange that
connects the transmission axle of the
rear axle and the main reducing gear.
• Loosen the 4 bolts and separate the
transmission axle and the main
reducing gear.
• Put down the rear end of the
transmission axle of the rear axle.

(b). Separate the transmission axle of the rear
axle and the intermediate transmission
axle.
• Make matchmarks on the flange that

connects the transmission axle of the
rear axle and the intermediate
transmission axle.
• Loosen the 4 bolts and separate the
transmission axle of the rear axle and
the intermediate transmission axle.
2. Remove the intermediate transmission
axle
(a). Remove the intermediate bearing support.
• Loosen the 2 bolts and remove the
intermediate bearing support.
• Put down the rear end of the
intermediate transmission axle.
