Transmission axle-transmission axle assembly

(b). Air-cut off parking brake:
Separate the intermediate transmission
axle and the transmission output axle.
• Make matchmarks on the flange
that connects the intermediate
transmission axle and the
transmission output axle.
• Loosen the 4 bolts and separate the
intermediate transmission axle and
the transmission output axle.

(c). Central drum parking brake:
Separate the intermediate transmission
axle and the parking brake drum.
• Make matchmarks on the
connection of the intermediate
transmission axle and the parking
brake drum.
• Loosen the 4 nuts and separate the
intermediate transmission axle and
the parking brake drum..

3. Inspect the transmission axle (refer to “chapter 33 transmission axle-transmission axle 33
assembly, inspection”)
4. Install the intermediate transmission
axle
(a). Air-cut off parking brake:
Connect the intermediate transmission
axle and the transmission output axle.
• New nuts must be replaced with.
• Screw down the 4 bolts and connect
the intermediate transmission axle
and the transmission output axle.
Torque:
Vehicle Torque
1051 series 58~70 N·m
1061 series 130~160 N·m
1089 series 130~160 N·m
Caution:
The installation must be carried out in
accordance with the matchmarks made
before.
