Steering mechanism-steering column assembly

8. Remove the lock sleeve

9. Remove the retracing spring
(a). Make the hook on the top of the retracing
spring pass through from the mounting
hole with sharp-nose pliers.
(b). Make the hook at the bottom of the
retracing spring pass through from the
mounting hole and take down the retracing
spring.
10. Remove the limit bolt of the sliding axle

11. Loosen the steering shield assembly
(a). Loosen the 6 screws and loosen the
steering shield assembly.

12. Separate the spline housing universal
joint of steering column and the steering
gear
(a). Make matchmarks on the spline housing
universal joint fork of the steering column
and the steering worm of the steering gear.
(b). Loosen the bolts and pull out the spline
housing universal joint fork of the steering
column from the spline axle at the top of
the steering worm of steering gear.
13. Remove the steering column assembly
(a). Pull out the lock bolt of the adjustable
support on the steering column.
