Cooling- Cooling Fan
Cooling Fan
Replacement
1. Tilting up cab
2. Removing radiator, intercooler, and cowl assembly (refer to “Chapter 16
Cooling-Radiator, Replacement”)
3. Removing cooling fan assembly
(a) Remove the bolts connecting cooling fan
with belt and fan hub.
(b) Take off fan assembly. 16
Tip:
Before removing fan assembly, mark fan and
belt and fan hub for easier assembly.
4. Installing cooling fan assembly
(a) Install fan assembly onto belt and fan
hub according to the marks, and tighten
fixing bolts.
Torque: 60~65 N•m
Notice:
After the assembly, the fan should be able to
rotate smoothly without abnormal sound and
seizure.
5. Installing radiator, intercooler, and cowl assembly (refer to “Chapter 16
Cooling-Radiator, Replacement”)
6. Filling coolant and bleeding cooling system (refer to Service Manual for Cummins ISF
Series Engines)
7. Tilting down cab
