Front Axle-Front Wheel Alignment

(f) View center of bubble on camber gauge, and
read out camber angle.
Standard value: 1°

Limit value: 45’~1°15’
If camber angle is out of limits, check:
• Wear of knuckle pin and bushing
• Wheel hub bearing clearance
• Front axle bending
Service or replace as needed.
(g) Turn steering wheel slowly to change wheel
angle from 0° to 20°.
Tips:
• If left wheel is measured, turn steering wheel to
the left.
• If right wheel is measured, turn steering wheel
to the right.
(h) View center of bubble on caster gauge, and read 24

out knuckle pin caster angle.
Caster angle:

1051 series 3°

1061 series 2°24’

1089 series 3°30’

If knuckle pin caster angle is nonconforming to
standard value, check:
• Wear of knuckle pin and bushing
• Wheel hub bearing clearance
• Front axle bending
Service or replace as needed.
