Rear axle- Rear wheel hub with brake drum assembly

9. Remove the inner oil seal of the left rear
wheel hub
(a). Remove the inner oil seal from the left rear
wheel hub by sharp-nose pliers
Notice:
The inner oil seal removed and can’t be used again.

(b). Remove the inner oil seal of the left rear wheel hub
with a puller.
• Remove the inner ring of the inner tapered roller
bearing of the left rear wheel hub at the same time.
Notice:
The inner oil seal ring removed and can’t be used
again.

10. Remove the left rear wheel hub bearing.
(a). Remove the outer ring of the outer tapered roller
bearing from the left rear wheel hub with a
hammer and a copper bar.

(b). Remove the outer ring of the inner tapered roller
bearing from the left rear wheel hub with a
hammer and a copper bar.

11. Remove the inner oil seal of the right rear wheel hub.
Hint:
The steps for the removal of the inner oil seal of the right rear wheel hub are the same with those for
the inner oil seal of the left rear wheel hub.

12. Remove the right rear wheel hub bearing
Hint:
The steps for the removal of the right rear wheel hub bearing are the same with those for the left
rear wheel hub bearing.
